1. What you are granted
Every ePub you obtain from TruthBeTold Ministry is licensed to you by Publifye AS for your own use. Subject to the terms below you may keep the file for as long as you like, read it on every device you own, and download it again from your account.
The files are DRM-free on purpose. Nothing technical stops you from doing what this page asks you not to do — which is precisely why it is asked here, plainly, and why we trust you with it.
2. Individual purchases and the Personal pass
An edition you buy on its own, and everything you take with a Personal library pass, is licensed for personal and household use. You may:
- Read it on your own devices, on as many of them as you own;
- Share it with the people who live under your roof;
- Keep it for good — including after a pass has ended.
You may not sell it, lend your account, post it for download, or hand it out beyond your household. For a congregation, a class or a mission, the Organization pass exists and is priced for it.
3. The Organization pass
The Organization pass is deliberately broad, because we do not want to stand between a ministry and the people it exists for. On this pass you may share the editions you obtain within your organization and its outreach — its members, its students, its ministries, and the people you serve.
You give those copies away freely, and you never charge the people who receive them. That is the whole condition, and while you keep it, this is not resale.
What it does not cover, on any tier:
- Public redistribution — posting the files on a website, an open drive, a file-sharing service, an app store, or any place the general public can download them;
- Selling the editions, bundling them into something sold, or licensing them onward;
- Passing the pass itself, or its account, to another organization.
One pass covers one organization. If you are unsure whether a use is covered, ask us — we would much rather answer than have you guess.
4. What you keep when a pass ends
A library pass grants access to take editions while it runs. The editions you have already taken are yours to keep and read for good, under the licence above, whether the pass ended because you cancelled it or because you let it lapse.
What ends with the pass is your ability to take more, and your access to the online library. Nothing reaches into files already on your own devices.
5. The text, and what belongs to whom
Each edition names its translation and its source. Where a translation carries its own copyright or licence, that licence continues to govern the translated text and travels with the edition; where a translation is in the public domain, it stays in the public domain, and nothing here claims otherwise.
What Publifye AS produces around the text — the typesetting, the navigation and cross-linking, the Strong's apparatus, the parallel and dual-language arrangement, the covers and the front and back matter — is ours, and your licence to use it is the personal or in-organization licence described above.
Please keep each edition's colophon and imprint intact. You are welcome to add your own bookplate or note; what we place stays.
6. This licence sits inside the Terms
This page forms part of our Terms of Service, and the Terms govern where the two meet. In particular: All sales are final. We do not give refunds — of any kind, for any purchase, at any time. A licence question is never a refund question — if a use you need is not covered here, write to us and we will tell you where you stand.
